Welcome to my online portfolio. I have a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Victoria (Victoria, BC, Canada), a mechanical technology diploma from Camosun College (Victoria, BC, Canada), and most recently I have completed a demanding 10-month Yacht Design program at The Landing School (Kennebunkport, Maine, US).
As a mechanical engineer, specializing in machine design for the past five years, I have strong skills with a suite of software tools that help me get products designed efficiently. I also have spent a good amount of time liaising with machine shops and vendors to get the right product on-time and on-budget.
I thoroughly enjoy the challenges involved in machine design, but in the last year, I have taken some time to explore a related passion: small craft design. Having received formal training from one of North America’s leading institutions in the field, I am excited to join the industry.
I am very fortunate to have worked on the design of several fascinating products over the years. Please feel free to view examples of those products, as well as examples of past work experience, by selecting items on the left-hand menu. To download my current resume, click here.
If you have any questions or comments about these projects please do not hesitate to contact me. While I am based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, I have experience working remotely and across time-zones if necessary. I am always looking for the next interesting project, and am interested in hearing about yours!
